The Rolston’s enjoy food and wine. They are amateur gourmet chefs and donate seven course gourmet dinners with wine pairings for 10 people to various charities in and around the Capay Valley. They have attended“The Annual Food and Wine Classic” most years over the last two decades. They include local products from the many organic farmers in the region as well as the eggs, fruits, vegetables, herbs and nuts from their farm in their dinners.
Larry and Lynn are also very active in their community. They serve on many boards and committees. Larry is both a farmer and a pharmacist and works off the farm two days a week at Walgreen’s in Woodland, CA. Lynn has recently retired from being CEO at the California Pharmacists Association. They also belong to the Countryside Community Church and the Rotary Club of the Capay Valley-Brooks. Larry is very active on the Capay Valley Grown Agriculture Task Force and Lynn serves on the Boards of the New Season Community Development Corporation and Capay Valley Vision.
Besides growing almonds they have grown a beautiful family. Lynn and Larry have four children, six grandchildren and three honorary grandchildren. Two children and their families live and Atlanta, GA and two live in California. All are loved and cherished as often as possible. They have three dogs and four cats as well as two sheep and 25 chickens. One big happy family!
The farm is beautiful in every season and the grounds are magical. Everyone who visits calls it paradise!
